Business Councils

Issues that affect business in your community such as traffic, taxes, and planning and zoning are the kinds of issues that your local Business Council will address. As a member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, you are welcome to participate in the Business Council of any community where you have a business interest.

Bringing Chamber members and local officials together to build vibrant communities is a high priority of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Through your Business Council, you’ll:
  • Keep informed about the issues that directly affect your business and your community.
  • Find out about new developments and opportunities.
  • Meet with local policy makers, community leaders and state legislators.
  • Build better relationships through networking and social events.
  • Work with other local business leaders to impact the public policy decisions and the economic well being of your community.
